I adored the movie. Its so kick-a** I could hardly contain my joy watching it. We had a few friends over and all I can say is that we had a VERY loud house. We were screaming, debating, squealing, and such during the whole thing.
You can tell with the movie why the production quality of some of the other episodes this season were lower. Its cause they put all the budget and time into this gloriously beautiful movie. The effects were so stunning!! Plus some of the ways they used bending was amazing!! I love Anng's rock machine gun and vortex of elements, Katara's freezing of herself and Azula, all the old men kicking butt, and of course (my favorite) iron man Toph!! The only thing bad to me was that the Lion Turtle was almost impossibe to understand. We only got most of it because each one of us caught a different 5th word. So we kinda got a hint from each other what he was saying.
I'm still sad to see Zuko with Mae at the end but we all knew it was gonna happen! Oh well, at least their was a loverly Katanng kiss at the end!! Way to precious!! I wanna draw teenage water-air kids so bad right now!!
This is a little sketch I've been working on in my excitement though. Just need to color it now!
